Located in a quiet street not far from the MNG building in Gazi Osman Paşa, “Spice” Curry House is revolutionizing the dining scene in Ankara.  An unlikely team have pooled their resources to bring you an innovative dining experience. 

Amirouche Hamiti hails from Algeria and brings a wealth of international experience to the restaurant.  His background in North African cuisine along with his passion to “try anything once” has brought about an entirely different approach to the Indian and sub-continental kitchen.

Coming from Australia, Duncan Scudamore brings a specific passion for Indian and South East Asian (specifically Thai) that ensures all that is prepared in the “Spice” kitchen is authentic in nature and innovative to say the least.

Then of course there is Senol, without whom we would be lost.  Senol provides the background support that is every bit as important as the front of house stuff.  Ultimately, Senol will be able to step into the shoes of either Amirouche or Duncan when they have a break and when Senol gets his motorbike licence, he will be belting round Ankara delivering fresh hot curries.

The three of them are affectionately known as “The Spice Boys”

We are located in a quiet side street just around the corner from the MNG building and the Migros in Gazi Osman Paşa.  Directions are:

• Stand outside the Migros on the corner of Uğur Mumcu Caddesi and Kahraman Kadin Sokak.
• Cross the road and head down Kahraman Sokak keeping the Yapi Credi on your right.
• Cross Uğur Mumcu Sokak and continue to the next cross roads which is Cayhane Sokak.
• We are in the first building on your right: Cayhane Sok 30/A.
